So, why Stowe, and why the Lodge?
In 2015, Komal and Evan went away for the weekend to celebrate Evan’s birthday (belatedly, in December). Komal did not know where we were going, and Evan only found the Lodge through Trip Advisor. We had no idea what to expect. It snowed about a foot on the way up and the two of us were instantly enamored with the beauty and charm of Stowe. Evan quickly decided he wanted to get back into skiing, and Komal found herself in awe of the attention to detail found at the Lodge. Before checking out that weekend, we had already booked our next trip to Stowe. From there, we began exploring the area, trying out different hotels, and really getting to know Stowe in general. We’ve yet to find another hotel in the world that offers the same charm, tranquility, and abundance of activities as the Lodge. Since that initial trip in ‘15, we have returned to Stowe every chance we can get, bringing friends and family along for the ride whenever the timing worked out. As a home away from home, Stowe quickly became part of our DNA, as we hope it will for you, too. So when it came time to start looking for wedding venues, we naturally gravitated to Stowe. The more we looked, the more the Lodge seemed to be the place to be. Between the abundance of restaurants, bars, pools, hot tubs, outdoor recreation, proximity to the mountain, level of service, and architectural intrigue, the Lodge just has everything we love all in one place. We hope you will enjoy your time and want you to feel as relaxed and refreshed as possible. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of activities, restaurants, and breweries that we think you may enjoy and can’t wait to see you, celebrate with you, and welcome you to the amazing town that is Stowe, Vermont.
Please note that the State of Vermont requires all visitors over the age of 15 to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and as such, we are extending this request to all of our guests. For adults who are not vaccinated, there is the option of a 14-day complete quarantine at home, followed by a negative PCR test and continued quarantine until you arrive. We know this is a lot to ask, and completely understand if you are unable to attend due to these unfortunate restrictions.
